Due to an enrollment increase, a dedicated art and science teacher was necessary on the elementary campus. 香农·菲茨杰拉德小姐 会介入这个角色吗. She has worked with kids since she was in middle school, has taught and led in various professional settings, and recently graduated with a degree in Illustration. 她的股票, “I am so excited to work with a community of believers, to provide a Christ-centered perspective of art, to be able to point to God’s creativity and gifts, and to encourage kindness as an essential in the instruction to art.”
教二年级 凯瑟琳·肖佩特小姐. After completing a master’s degree in Educational Leadership in 2013, Miss Schoppet worked at a Christian school in San Jose. After a series of steps that she explains as “God orchestrated,” she found RCS. 她说, “I have a passion for both Christian education and leading the next generation to claim and live their identity in Christ. This so closely aligns with RCS’ mission and values, that I knew I wanted to be a part of the school.”
The Galvin family returns to RCS in 艾普莉·加尔文小姐. Miss Galvin’s grandmother worked at RCS for 30 years and her father was a student as well. She is passionate about the middle school classes she will be teaching: Bible, English, and History. “I am looking forward to teaching subjects that I thoroughly love and enjoy, and I hope to help my own students excel in these subjects as well.”
Also joining the middle school and high school campus is Mr. 达伦·威尔克森. Mr. 威尔克森 has taught for over 20 years at a local, public high school and now joins RCS. He shares about his 10th grade English class, “So many students think of Shakespeare as written in a foreign language, unworthy of their interest, 是个十足的讨厌鬼. As an actor who has been in many plays, and specifically a number of Shakespeare plays, I love showing them how filled with humanity these texts are, what fun they can be to act out and discuss, and what life lessons can be taken from them.” Mr. 威尔克森 will also teach 8th grade English this year.
